VAMA, a spiritual-tech startup focusing on spiritual e-commerce and experiences, has raised INR 22 crore in its latest funding round led by existing investor Wavemaker Partners, with participation from 500 Global, Sadev Ventures, Venture Catalysts, and Silverneedle Ventures.
The fresh capital will be used to expand into new categories, including offline spiritual travel, and to enhance its product offerings. VAMA currently serves a user base of 150,000 and aims to reach 1 million users over the next 24 months.
India Juris acted as legal counsel to Venture Catalysts in this investment, advising on the due diligence, term sheet, and definitive agreements for the transaction.
