In INR 80 Crores funding round of Now Purchase, India Juris represented Investors.

NowPurchase, a Kolkata, India–based AI-enabled B2B platform that helps metal manufacturers optimize production and procure raw materials, has raised INR 80 crore (approximately USD 8.6 million) in its latest funding round led by Bajaj Finserv, with participation from InfoEdge Ventures and Orios Venture Partners, along with investors such as Shikhar Raj, Real Ispat Group, Madhur Gupta, VC Grid, and Kartik Hosanagar.

Founded in 2017 by Naman Shah and Aakash Shah, NowPurchase operates an AI-driven platform that enables metal manufacturers to procure raw materials such as scrap, alloys, and additives, while digitising shop-floor operations through its proprietary MetalCloud platform using technologies like IoT and computer vision.

India Juris acted as legal counsel to VC Grid in this investment, advising on transaction and related documentation.
