India Juris advised on a partial exit from Rentomojo

13 August 2026

Venture Catalysts has announced its partial exit from Rentomojo, generating an approximate 3.4x return on invested capital. The transaction enabled Venture Catalysts to realise meaningful returns while continuing to remain invested in Rentomojo’s future growth. The exit was part of a broader trend of secondary transactions enabling early investors to realise returns while companies continue on their growth journey.

Founded in 2014, Rentomojo is a leading subscription-led furniture and appliance rental platform in India. The company has raised over USD 58 million in external funding, with its latest funding round led by Edelweiss Discovery Fund. Other investors in the company include Accel and Chiratae Ventures. Venture Catalysts first invested in Rentomojo in 2019.

India Juris acted as legal counsel to Venture Catalysts in connection with the partial exit transaction, advising on the transaction and related documentation.

The transaction was handled and led by the India Juris, Gurugram and Mumbai team. For more details, Read more.
