Prateek Rachh is a seasoned legal and regulatory lawyer with 15+ years of rich experience. He is a versatile lawyer having extensive experience in corporate, dispute resolution, and financial litigation. He is involved in advising domestic and international clients on the evolving opportunities at GIFT IFSC. At GIFT City he handles:-

• End-to-end setup and structuring of regulated entities in IFSC, including Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), Asset Management Companies (AMCs), IFSC Banking Units (IBUs), Insurance and Reinsurance offices, Aircraft Leasing operations, Fintech, Techfin, Payment Service Provider License (PSP), Global In-House Centres (GICs).
• Establishment and structuring of Foreign Universities and Educational Institutions under the IFSC framework
• Drafting and reviewing documentation for financial products and services offered out of IFSC
• Advising on structuring and availing of tax benefits, available under the IFSC regime (including Section 80LA and allied provisions)
• Advising on real estate transactions, including acquisition, development, leasing, and investment structures
• Representing clients in arbitration, mediation, and litigation across forums, including IFSC-based dispute resolution mechanisms
• Engaging with regulators and governmental bodies on policy matters, regulatory reforms, and industry representations relevant to IFSC and financial services

His career spans distinguished tenures at leading firms, including Singhi & Co. (Ahmedabad) and the chambers of Adv. Piyush Shah and Adv. Ashish Mehta (Mumbai), where he drafted and argued complex Original Applications, Writ Petitions, and PILs, resulting in reportable judgments.
